AUSTIN, TEXAS October 15, 2020 — Keller Williams (KW), the world’s largest real estate technology franchise by agent count, is expanding across South America. As momentum continues, KW has awarded a new master license in Uruguay.
Led by Regional Operating Principal Andres Breccia, the Keller Williams franchise in Uruguay is currently initializing operations. A 30-year real estate veteran, Breccia will launch KW Uruguay operations in Montevideo and Punta del Este in Q1 ’21.

Uruguay marks the sixth KW master license in South America. The brand’s other five regions include Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Paraguay, and Peru.

As of September 30, the brand has 15 market centers and 758 agents across South America.
KWW is currently exploring further expansion opportunities across Africa, Central and South America, Central and Eastern Europe, and throughout Asia.
As of September 30, KWW has 249 market centers (outside of the U.S. and Canada) and 11,442 agents collectively operating outside the U.S. and Canada, up 26.8% since the end of September 2019.
Core criteria for new licensees starts with having a qualified leadership team grounded in the Keller Williams culture; the company also strives for government, banking, and judicial system stability and a higher maturity level for a real estate market.
