AUSTIN, TEXAS MAY 12, 2022 — Keller Williams (KW), the world’s largest real estate technology franchise by agent count, is hosting its 14th annual Renew, Energize and Donate Day, or RED Day, today.
“Today, more than 200,000 associates across 50-plus countries are united as one in an effort to give back to the communities we serve during our annual day of service,” said Carl Liebert, CEO of kwx, an integrated home experience company.
“We see our culture as the core differentiator to everything we do,” said Liebert. “And, RED Day marks a singular moment each year where we pause and amplify the core beliefs we live out every day through service in our communities.”
Since May 2009, KW agents, leaders and associates have set apart RED Day to serve in a wide range of volunteer efforts with community and nonprofit partners to improve their cities and neighborhoods.
Set annually on the second Thursday of May, RED Day global activities also honor KW’s ‘top cultural carrier’ Mo Anderson. Anderson has also served as the vice chairman of the board for KW since December 2005. For a decade prior, she previously served as CEO of KW.
Keller Williams Agents on RED Day
“Our culture is why so many agents love Keller Williams,” said Wendy Papasan, an Austin, Texas-based KW agent. “On RED Day, everyone in the company, across the globe, takes a day off of work to give back to their communities.”
“That’s our culture in action – giving where we live,” said Papasan. “KW teaches us to build big businesses, but it also teaches us that there’s more to life than work.”
“After weeks of preparation, we are here,” said Eileen Skeoch Hill, a Suwanee, Georgia-based KW agent. “I’m blown away by the generosity of our agents and their families, friends, and clients and our strategic partners and vendors that have stepped up to help with their time and financial resources.”
“Every year about this time, KW agents give back to the communities we serve,” said Amy Curry, a Corpus Christi, Texas-based KW agent. “The North Padre office organized a beach cleanup. So proud to be in business with this great group of people.”
“I’m excited for everything we’re going to do for Wild Kid Acres,” said Jessica Busch, a Millersville, Maryland-based KW agent. “I’m honored to have served as the Keller Williams Realty Flagship of Maryland RED Day Planning Committee Chair for five RED Days.”
