AUSTIN, TEXAS July 1, 2020 — Keller Williams (KW), the world’s largest real estate technology franchise by agent count, is expanding further across Europe and Asia. As momentum continues, KW has awarded new master licenses in Slovenia and Thailand.
As of May 30, the brand has 107 market centers and 5,250 agents across Europe and 18 market centers and 1,135 agents across Asia.
“We’re excited to welcome Daniel of KW Slovenia and Vit of KW Thailand, along with their amazing leaders and agents, to our worldwide family,” said William E. Soteroff, president of Keller Williams Worldwide (KWW), the international division of Keller Williams.
“In the midst of a rapidly shifting global market due to COVID-19, our global regions continue to post growth and our pipeline of new regions continues to be strong,” said Soteroff.
Led by Regional Operating Principal Daniel Angel Sauli, the KW franchise in Slovenia opened its first market center in June 2020.
“For 15 years, we’ve had an independent brokerage in Slovenia. We are now a team of 15 people and 10 agents,” said Sauli. “The real estate market in our country lacks robust education and technology support; it’s what I saw would be good to bring into our country. So, we turned to KW.”
“KW really believes in the value of the agent across the financial and education models and within its values,” said Sauli. “They really believe the agent resides in the middle of the business.”
The KW franchise in Thailand is led by Regional Operating Principal Vit Kultanavipas. In Q2 ’20, KW Thailand opened for business with several offices.
“I’ve been a real estate agent for 15 years and have a very successful business,” said Kultanavipas. “Yet, we wanted to achieve a lot higher success, and to do that, we have to change the model and the way we think.”
“So, we joined KW and we’re excited that the KW culture is so different. We treat associates as a family, improving them along the way,” said Kultanavipas. “The business model and culture have allowed the company to become No. 1.”
As of May 30, KWW has 232 market centers (outside of the United States and Canada) across 43 regions. KWW has 10,496 agents collectively operating outside the U.S. and Canada, up 32% since May 30, 2019.
KWW is currently exploring further expansion opportunities across Africa, Central and South America, Central and Eastern Europe, and throughout Asia.
Core criteria for new licensees starts with having a qualified leadership team grounded in the Keller Williams culture; the company also strives for government, banking, and judicial system stability and a higher maturity level for a real estate market.
Outside of the U.S. and Canada, KWW’s 43 regions include: Argentina; Belgium; Belize; Bermuda; Cambodia; Chile; Colombia; Costa Rica; Czech Republic; Dubai, UAE; France; Greater Shanghai, China; Greece; Honduras; Indonesia; Ireland; Israel; Italy; Jamaica; Japan; Luxembourg; Malaysia; Mexico; Monaco; Morocco; Nicaragua; Northern Cyprus; Panama; Philippines; Poland; Portugal; Puerto Rico; Romania; Slovenia; Southern Africa; Southern Cyprus; Spain; Thailand; Trinidad and Tobago; Turkey; Turks and Caicos; United Kingdom; and Vietnam.
